Assisting the physically disabled

An Aspen Pharmacare initiative

Our SVP facility in Port Elizabeth required suits for use in its graded areas. In the process of sourcing garments, we contacted the Association for the Physically Disabled who invited us for a tour of their workshop facility and an opportunity to meet their staff.

The focus at this organisation is on each person’s ability rather than the disability they may have. Many people learn new skills while working at the facility such as printing T-shirts and making garments.

Aspen ordered a consignment of cleanroom boiler suits which were put to good use at its Port Elizabeth site.
